How does it work?
Our solution is based on the intelligent interplay of various technologies:
- Mobile Scanners with Integrated Localization: Each of our handheld scanners is equipped with a powerful RFID reader. When scanning a product, not only is the barcode captured, but the scanner’s position is also determined simultaneously.
- Anchor Transponders for Precise Indoor Navigation: We install special anchor transponders in your warehouse that serve as reference points. Similar to GPS satellites outdoors, they enable accurate positioning within enclosed spaces.
- Radio Frequency Time Difference (RTTD) for Highest Precision: By measuring the time it takes a radio signal to travel from a scanner to an anchor transponder and back, the distance between the two can be precisely calculated. Using multiple anchor transponders, the exact position of the scanner and thus the scanned product is determined.
